V. Skills
- Professional Photography-In 2024- from February to November, I was among 10 photojournalists from 10 African countries who were trained by (INFONILE in Burundi) on the use of AI tools in PHOTOJOURNALISM to tell our own stories.
- In February to July 2025, I was among 7 beneficiaries of Thomson Reuters Foundation mentorship on Use of AI to fact-check data in investigative reporting through which we were trained on use of AI in the Newsroom. This program has opened my eyes on why photojournalists have to get such skills.
- Besides being a photo-editor for 8 years, I am an innovative photojournalist, media trainer, and AI specialist with extensive experience in newsroom leadership, digital media transformation, and training journalists on leveraging Artificial Intelligence for reporting, fact-checking, and storytelling. Skilled at bridging the gap between technology and journalism, enabling media professionals to adapt to new tools for research, audience engagement, and investigative reporting.
